Mail columnist Katie Nicholl writes this weekend that Prince William and Kate Middleton recently dashed away on another mini-break holiday, this time to the south of France.
What’s perhaps more remarkable about the story is that the two of them again chose to fly in the economy section of the plane back to England.
Nicholl writes, “There was no special treatment for Prince William and Kate Middleton when they flew home from Marseilles to Gatwick in economy with their two plain-clothes protection officers after enjoying the sunshine in the South of France.”
Her source explains that “They were very sweet and very normal … They were casually dressed and boarded the plane with the rest of the passengers. They were very smiley to anyone who recognised them and spent most of the flight chatting away. At one point William leaned over and gave Kate a cuddle.”

Kate Middleton was pictured twice last weekend wearing a diamond-encrusted watch, leading some newspaper writers to dub her the latest royal “WAG.”
Kate Middleton, Prince William, and the entire Middleton family were out in force on Saturday evening to raise money for the Starlight Foundation, a children’s charity which was founded by actress Emma Samms.
The Sunday People reported this weekend that a friend of William and Kate has spilled that 2012 is the likely date for a royal wedding for the couple.
